My Story

My name is Kiana Nirvana Loomis. I am a WBFF Bikini Pro, natural physique athlete, personal trainer, and functional nutrition and metabolism coach. Today, I help individuals build strong, resilient bodies while improving their relationship with food, training, and long-term health.

But I did not start here.

I was never athletic growing up. I disliked sports, dreaded P.E. class, and often used exercise-induced asthma as a reason to avoid physical activity altogether. It was not until my later teenage years, after stepping away from traditional sports and gym classes, that I began exploring health and fitness on my own. Like many people, it started with a simple desire to feel healthier, more confident, and more comfortable in my body.

At the time, my diet was inconsistent, my exercise habits were minimal, and I struggled with body image from a young age. I was never truly proud of how I felt or looked, and that weighed on me more than I realized.

When I finally decided to make a change, I jumped headfirst into the fitness world with very little guidance. I followed what was popular, restrictive, and marketed as “healthy,” believing that discipline alone would get me where I wanted to go. Instead, I quickly found myself sliding into disordered eating patterns. I became increasingly underfueled, overtrained, and disconnected from my body. What began as a goal to improve my health led me in the opposite direction.

Reaching a critically low body weight at 88lbs was a wake-up call that forced me to reassess everything. That moment marked the beginning of a very different journey.

I joined a gym, began learning how to train properly, and committed to understanding how to fuel my body in a way that supported strength, energy, and recovery. I read relentlessly, studied training methodologies, and sought guidance from trusted mentors. Progress was slow and imperfect, but over time I rebuilt my body and my health. My energy returned. Muscle followed. More importantly, my mindset shifted.

What started as a physical transformation became a complete lifestyle change. I felt stronger, more grounded, and more confident not just in my body, but in myself. As that change became visible, people around me began asking for help. Friends, family, and even strangers wanted to know how I trained, how I ate, and how I approached balance. I realized that my lived experience, paired with growing education, could be used to help others avoid the mistakes I had made.

That realization led me to pursue formal education and certifications in the fitness and nutrition space. I began with a 200-hour Certified Yoga Teacher certification and went on to obtain multiple nationally accredited credentials, including Certified Personal Trainer, Fitness Nutrition Specialist, Exercise Rehabilitation Specialist, and Bodybuilding Specialist. I have since expanded my education into functional nutrition, metabolism, hormone health, and digestive physiology, allowing me to work with clients from a far more comprehensive and individualized perspective.

Alongside my coaching career, I have competed in multiple bodybuilding federations, earning first-place titles and consistently placing at the top level of the sport. In my most recent competition, I earned my WBFF Pro card as a Pro Bikini Diva.

While physique sport remains a passion, my work today extends far beyond aesthetics alone.

I continue to study evidence-based research, functional nutrition, and metabolic health to ensure my coaching evolves alongside both science and real-world application. My approach integrates training, nutrition, lifestyle, and physiology, recognizing that there is no single formula that works for everyone.

Becoming healthy is a process. It requires patience, consistency, and guidance that respects the individual rather than forcing rigid rules. I took the long road and learned many lessons the hard way, but those experiences shaped the coach I am today.

My goal is simple. To help others build strength, confidence, and sustainable health guided by evidence without unnecessary extremes, shortcuts, or burnout. If I can do it, I truly believe anyone can, with the right support and education along the way.
